This year, 2014, the 25th edition of the castellers competition is on October 4th and 5th, truly a unique event in the world.
There is no better opportunity to enjoy and learn about the celebration of castellers, than in the Tarraco Arena Plaza of Tarragona. Here you will find one of the most important castellers contests that exist, where every 2 years the best Casteller teams gather to be measured against each other in competition and create their best human castles.Whatmakes this contest different from other ones is that each Castle receives a score according to its difficulty.
All of the collas (teams) wait eagerly for this day, to be in this incomparable setting,to test themselves every 2 years in this fantastic competition. Here to make their best castles ever in front of more than 7,000 people and countless national and international media that come to cover the event.
